Writer’s Cafe exists for a cause, the café is a non-profit place and a platform for specially abled and domestic violence victims. The aim of the café project is set on inclusivity, that breaks social norms.
Food:
The most-loved Sticky Lemon Chicken has chicken chunks tossed in zesty glaze that’s made using in-house sauce and has a caramelized exterior and juicy interior, that tangy sweet flavour is what everyone comes looking for and is a good start for a meal.
Flammkuchen is the German form of pizza, and it’s made with a simple dough, cheese, and exciting toppings. The Writer’s Fried Chicken is served in a box. The subtle aroma of the seasoned herbs when you open the box makes you grab a piece immediately. The chicken pieces are crisp from outside and soft and succulent from inside.
Another addition to the new menu is the Fried Chicken Boom Burger This is an extended version of the crispy fried chicken only that the patty or chunk of chicken is boneless but has the same burst of herbs and the secret sauce that tops the patty.
The cheesy grilled chicken, which is more like a sizzler, is served in a skillet filled with seasoned rice, sauteed chicken and sausages.
The Red drink has pomegranate, watermelon, lemon with brewed tea and lychee popping boba and chewy classic boba. The Filter coffee and cola brew was a new flavour for the palate.
The Praliné Noisette is a heavenly delight of hazelnut and chocolate ganache, almond sponge, and whipped chocolate ganache. The cafe has their own ice cream lab in Taramani where fresh ice creams are churned every day and supplied to all their 5 outlets. They’ve some very interesting flavours, like rose & lychee and the cheesecake cake ice cream.
