Taking a cue from the flavoring and stability agent that is used in beer – Hops, the Olive group cleverly branded their microbrewery as The Hoppery and it shares space with Olive Bistro on the same property.

Practically next door to Olive Bistro, the interiors are absolutely entrancing – both indoor and outdoor. With comfortable wooden tables and chairs outside along with the wall hangings indoor, the property is filled with wonderful antique collections and complements the theme.

At The Hoppery, the food menu is carefully designed by the chef to go with the craft brews. Though their food menu is limited, the Chargrilled Spiced Potato Flatbread and Dips – slow-cooked organic potatoes on stretchy chargrilled flatbread served with smoked baba ghanoush, hummus and salad – is one of the best veg snacks we had in recent times. Chicken Shish Taok with chilled Quinoa Salad – the grilled chicken skewers were tender and juicy, went well with the chilled salad. Some of the interesting dishes on the menu include chicken, bacon and egg club sandwich, Kangaroo Cottage Cheese and Cauliflower with Cheesy Pao or try The Hoppery’s specials – the fried wings, munchies or the epic fries. From The Rice Bowl section, order Tex-Mex Chipotle Chicken that is served with Mediterranean style rice, Crispy scallions, Zaatar stew and pickles. Go for some thin crust pizza – Purely Margherita comes with home-grown fresh basil, cheese and juicy tomatoes on a well-baked crust.The place offers a small but alluring brew beer list that includes Hop Notch, Copperhead, White Spice, and Hyderabrew.
