With a glass door facing the road, the cafe is spacious and high-ceilinged with a long wavy table decorated with plants and chairs for those who want to sit and eat, and also some smaller tables. The cafe has a gallery upstairs where you can sit with a view, decorated with cycle wheels to suggest the humble street cart from where Shankar’s ice creams are still served at the Law garden night market. Glass windows are also decked in greenery. There is a large ice-cream display in glass cases.

The cafe is known for its seasonal flavors. At the time of reviewing, I found a selection of ice-creams with summer-monsoon fruits like mango, musk melon, peach and litchi. I enjoyed the musky muskmelon which had a sweet flavour and aroma. The tender coconut litchi was creamy and smooth. The live ice creams are the ice-creams that are continually being freshly churned – the currently popular flavors include Ratnagiri mango, lemon and bitter chocolate. The cold stone ice-creams are mixed together in front of you – try the red relvet cranberry or jambu mango.
There is also a range of cold beverages like shakes. I had a cold coffee which was pretty good.

The cafe is an attractive place for those who love ice-creams – the ice-creams are fresh and flavors innovative. At times it can get noisy and over-crowded, mainly over the weekends.
