Introducing dishes by name and ingredients, where they’re from, flaunting in-house bakery skills, infusing family run familiarity, pairing hour appropriate drinks, service in sublime white vintage porcelain is all part of a resourceful confession. We choose in random order Cold Soba Noodle Salad (₹380), New York Poached Eggs (₹480), Everything Bagel (₹250), Brooklyn Subs with Lamb Meatballs (₹480), Baked Pollo Hot Pot (₹580) and wash it down with a Sugarcane Blend (₹250) and Ice Lemon Americano (₹220).

Plus & Minus:

The freshly crushed sugarcane juice with mint and ginger packs a punch. The Zaru Soba or basic kind of unique texture of hand-made chilled soba (buckwheat) noodles experience,is to eat them cold; here with a refreshing drizzle of light, flavorful Chinese xian wèi dressing tossed in a house salad of baby cucumbers,peppers and juliennes of carrots kicks the palate on a delightful freewheeling start. The New York staple brunch eggs on home-baked thick, grainy brioche slices smothered in a cream of spinach, à la Florentine,comes with cold,poached eggs topped with a deliciously warm, sunny Hollandaise sauce. The ‘everything’ house bagel, is toasted to a crunchy, salty, chewy bite of prominent caraway-poppy-white sesame topping, slapped with cream cheese and cucumber, tomato, iceberg instead of arugula. The Brooklyn Subs inspired is ordinary, served with moist meatballs, lined in lettuce and tomato, slathered in a Thousand Island dressing. Finally, the chicken hot pot is a robust, cheesy, diced chicken bake between school classic one pot leftover meals and not the simmering broth and steam would imagine. A blonde roasted smooth iced lemon Americano brings a soothing halt to our afternoon reverie.
