Mirch Masala, as the name suggests, specialises in North Indian food with whole spices. If you like your food to be pungent, ask for some of the dishes that are extra spicy.

The restaurant has revamped its packaging. What I received was a large box with a tray in it carrying the different ordered items in neatly packed containers.I enjoyed the seek kebab, which was succulent and well-spiced. The shikari tandoori murgh, shikari murgh tikka and pahadi kebab are also excellent.

Papad de kebab is one of their hot-selling starters,with a nice crunch. Hariyali tikki is excellent and the angoori cheese kebab is popular.

The mile jule kebab is a meal in itself,with a good number of non-veg kebabs that can go between two persons,a bowl of dal makhani and hariyali naan. They also have a pretty sumptuous veg kebab platter.

If you like rustic flavors try the murgh desistyle. Murgh lasuni makes good use of whole spices. You can also try the murgh tawa kaand the balti chilli chicken. For vegetarians, shikari paneer tawa kam, balti paneer, hara lasuni subzi and chefs kofta lajawab are among the house specials.

The handi mutton is one of their signatures with fork-tender mutton. There is a good choice of chicken dishes like murg makhani (you can ask for Mirch Masala style or Delhi style), murg methi garlic and murg Mirch Masala. Palak paneer and mutter mushroom masala are some more of the restaurant’s top dishes. Mutton khada masala is among the dishes reminiscent of dhaba food. Among the breads, cheese naan, Mirch Masala naan, hara lasooni naanand pudina parathaare popular.

Leave room for their excellent which is crispy yet succulent (six on a plate) or their pretty good gulab jamun.
