The Punjab of garishly colored trucks and dhabas done up with murals and graffiti is brought alive by the interiors of this restaurant with its colorful tables and upholstery, lanterns, truck art reproductions on the walls and props like a miniature bicycle carrying a milk can.

I started with tamatar dhaniya shorba, a warming soup, and the tandoori khazana which is a platter paneer, potato, baby corn, corn, cauliflower and mushrooms. The tandoori starters like the bhatti ka paneer which combined softness with a rustic flavor, the minty paneer pudina tikka and the earthy tasting bharwan kumbh (tandoori mushroom) are pretty good,and tandoori broccoli is listed as their house special. The gol gappa and the chaats come with modern plating and presentation.
The parathas here have a nice homey feel to them – I had parathas stuffed with onion cheese, aloo and gobhi respectively. Paneer, aloo pyaz, masala cheese and mixed veg are other stuffed parathas available, and you could order the muli paratha when available. Charcoaled paneer makhani is another of their popular dishes as is the paneer tikka with garlic. The lasooni palak, malai kofta and kofta shaam savera are also popular. Exotic bell pepper masala is a signature dish. Dal dabbewali with their vegetarian biryani or pulao is also a good choice.
