What was merely a ‘waiting area’ to while away time before the start of a movie at PVR’s plush Director’s Cut, has become one of the best cocktail bars and gigs spaces in town.

A relaxed living room setting with a performance area and a lavish bar – Home has become the place in town to enjoy live music and entertainment. Picture yourself in an upmarket London or a New York jazz club setting with very good food and beverage options. A lot of credit for the emergence of Home as a serious F&B destination has to go to chefs Mayank Tiwari and Yutaka Saito and beverage head Santanu Chanda. In these three, PVR boasts of a powerhouse of talent. The Signatures section of beverage menu showcases Chanda’s creativity with options such as Himalayan Spring Collins (₹700) – a gin, coriander seed tincture, pomegranate and rose, pink vermouth and Yuzu concoction or Third Eye Gibson (₹700) – a gin, oxidized fennel wine and fruit brine cocktail. For whisky lovers, there’s orange, passion fruit and mint flavored The Witch’s Magic (₹800) and banana flower, fig, pineapple and spiced infused Nico’s Milk Punch (₹ 800). Highballs (₹750 each) and Classics (₹650 each) are all worth a try. The Japanese, European and Modern Indian menu is not just elaborate but also one of the best on offer in the mall stretch of Vasant Kunj. Dim sums, sushi, sashimi and rolls and main course selections are a showcase of the culinary prowess of the talented chefs on duty. As the weather gets better, the terrace area becomes an ideal spot to enjoy a cocktail or gin and tonic and a meal in the open.
