The cafe is located on Jacob Road, close to the posh Civil Lines area, and has a lot of parking space available. So, it is always a stress-free experience whenever you decide to visit for coffee, croissant, or other items from their selective menu. This cafe came up almost in the middle of the pandemic and one wondered how it would survive. But they will complete one year this month and have managed quite well purely by word of-mouth publicity. They depended on the excellent quality of their food and it paid off.

When you visit Brot Company, you’re walking into a beautiful first-floor space that is surrounded by trees on two sides and gives a feeling of being in a tree house. The look and feel of the place are warm and welcoming and though there is limited seating space, it is still quite inviting, and you are assured of a pleasant experience.

Unlike a lot of restaurants that try to provide a mix of all popular food items, the menu here has been very carefully curated. It’s almost as if the guys in charge decided to offer only items they specialized in and there are some interesting dishes on offer – soups Fungo (₹225); salads that include Burrata Caprese (₹645) and Watermelon & Feta (₹345). What’s good here is that they also have several options for quick meals like Avocado Toast (₹415), Lebanese Wrap (₹295), Asian Style Stir Fried Vegetable Noodles (₹445) and a wide range of pizzas, pasta, and sandwiches. The food on offer is prepared meticulously with a lot of care.

The best thing about Brot Company is a combination of many elements – a beautiful location that’s away from crowded bazaars, ample parking space and the excellent quality of food on offer. There is enough space for small groups, and one feels comfortable even if one is on one’s own. Nobody is in a hurry to have you vacate the table and the relaxed atmosphere makes you want to spend more time and perhaps order more than you planned to!

The meal bowls include Caesar Tofu (₹475) and Mediterranean (₹475), Tomozz Sandwich (₹395), Burrata Cheese Burst Pizza (₹995) and Spicy Basilica (₹895). Almost all their bakery items – the cakes, pastries and croissants are good to try with a range of smoothies, teas and coffees.
