A high-end European-styled cafe from the house of Karachi Bakery, 45th Avenue, serves world-class savories, bread, chocolates, gourmet desserts, French pastries, birthday cakes, and near authentic baklava.

It is one of Hyderabad’s most stylish and elegant patisseries. The ambience stands out and is well complemented with display counters, well-placed photo frames, and subtle music. At the centre of the cafe is the main attraction –the state-of-the-art Miwe Wenz 1919 Oven. It is an electrically heated MIWE condo deck oven with heavy baking capacities. The double oven unit bakes their entire range of croissants, focaccia, baguettes, and artisan loaves of bread. And the coffee and mocktail island bar counter in the centre of the cafe is another attraction with high chairs around it.

Food:

They balance their menu with chocolates, nuts, fruit-based pastries, baklava and knafeh (Turkish desserts), and a wide range of short bites, waffles, burgers, sandwiches, and main course, and açaí bowl (healthy). Açaí is a super food, made with açaí berry puree, fruit, and delicious toppings; this power bowl has fibre, antioxidants, and healthy fats and is beneficial for health. I was very impressed with the açaí bowls and English breakfast options on the menu.

Then I moved to the croissant bar; it is something one has to try, especially the chicken croissant and creamy cheese croissant. The beauty of freshly baked croissants is something one has to experience. Both the versions were quite satisfying. Very few places in Hyderabad serve calzone. So the moment I no- ticed it on the menu, I ordered a cajun chicken calzone. Freshly baked items make a lot of difference in taste and texture.

They boast of signature beverages, frappes, iced teas, and freshly brewed coffees that are exciting and tasty.

One need not think twice about giving in to the sinful desserts, with a vast range of cheesecakes, eclairs, and pastries to choose from on the display that is eye-catching and delicious.

The service was quick and friendly. Overall, a suitable place for relishing freshly baked food, from an early breakfast to sinful desserts.
