With each passing month, there seems to be more activity and action all around and the restaurant scene is also showing signs of overall improvement. It’s nice to see a lot happier faces as they talk about how the situation is gradually limping back to normal. Other than focusing on better delivery service, most of the restaurants are also working on creating a more hygienic and sanitized atmosphere.

This is our small effort towards helping the restaurants get back on their feet. We salute their resilience and look forward to better times ahead.

The Sushi Company was started some time ago on one of the busiest roads in C Scheme. As the name suggests, it specialises in Sushi and also offers a few other Oriental delicacies. It’s set up in a small but cosy space and can seat around 20 people indoors and 60 outdoors. The décor is done well. In terms of location, there couldn’t have been a better place as it is surrounded by other popular eateries and malls, and it did manage to draw enough customers even though it was started when the situation was far from normal!

The menu, as expected, has a fairly wide range of Sushis-both the tried and tested as well as some variations thrown in to make it more interesting and appealing for customers, especially those looking to try something different. So, there is Salad Sushi (₹ 500), Silken Tofu (₹ 550), Cream Cheese Tempura (₹ 550) and Deep Fried Sushi Roll (₹ 600) and a wide range of teas and coffees. If you’re in a mood to experiment, go right ahead and try one of these unusual combinations.

What’s nice is that Sushi Company is very clear in what it serves, it is reasonably priced and the food is quite good. Though walk-ins have started trickling in, food is available for home delivery as well. So, you don’t have to wait for the situation to be more normal than it is now and can happily order from their wide range of Sushis. The packing is neat. As stated earlier, the restaurant is open for walkins and if you want to visit, you can do so without a problem because they make every effort possible to keep the restaurant sanitized and the staff members wear the required face masks.
