Ants Cafe: Food
We began with a simple zucchini and spinach soup; it’s a semi-clear soup with a thin consistency and a peppery flavor, a perfect hot soup to savor on a cold breezy winter evening. From the starters, we tried the malai creamy broccoli and stuffed mushroom. The broccoli was tasty and had a smoky flavor. The cheese-stuffed mushroom was soft on the inside and crispy from outside and was certainly a tasty dish.
Then came lemon grass malai chicken tikka and chilli basil chicken. In the chilli basil chicken, they used birds eye chilli instead of the regular ones to add extra fire to the dish. Although impressive, the dish lacked the basil flavor. Lemon grass malai chicken was very succulent and had creamy tandoori chicken chunks but the dish somehow didn’t have the lemon grass flavor.
For the mains, one can choose from a range of options that are available on the menu, be it pasta, pizza, or the keema masala, mutton rogan josh, Andhra chicken curry or Korean pot rice, pad Thai Noodles. We ordered kheema pulao,it was served hot and was tasty with a well-balanced combination of meat and spices. We concluded the meal with chocolate fantasy dessert, which was delicious. The chocolate sponge was layered upside down and was topped with chocolate frosting, which was really impressive and delectable.
The service was swift and the staff courteous, making it a good dining experience overall.
