This is an attractive restaurant with a covered area and an open lawn. The highlight of the restaurant is the lawn with a kitchen pavilion where you can watch some of the cooking.

Vanshree has some decorative takes on traditional dishes. The aloo candy chat is a potato chat loaded on an ice-cream stick. Cheese chat canape is served like a hors d’oeuvre with the cheese and chat on a papdi. They also serve dahi dal waffle chat. We had idhar udhar ke patto ka chat is an attractively plated salad of leafy vegetables and herbs topped with piquant chutney and curd. Tameta ni raab is a soup with millet, ghee and masala.
We started with the khichu kebab which has classic rice flour batter fashioned into small patties. Aloo cassata tikki has bits of paneer giving it a marbled appearance. The Gujarati pakwan is a section of traditional regional dishes – the mixed bhaji na muthiya and patra were excellent, and the mains like rasawala bataka, ringan nu bartho and sev tamatar shakpair well with bajra rotla. Vagharelo rotlo and nariyal kotmir tikki are worth having, and a house special is singoda fansi no toran which has water chestnut, French beans and coconut. Paneer cheese lava will be liked by those who like cheese. The wood-fired bruschetta and the pizzas are nice and crispy – they have some unusual toppings on the pizzas like pickled pepper and pineapple pesto as also silver plated roasted nuts and veggie pizza.
We ended with their delectable kesar jalebi. kesar elaichi boondi jamun and chocolate platter are signatures.

This is a pleasant garden restaurant offering some interesting dishes. We specially liked the dishes from Gujarat.
