Hyderabad’s financial district can get stifling with its concrete structures and buzzing traffic – which is why Over The Moon (OTM) is nothing short of an oasis in this part of the town.
Over The Moon Brew Company, Gachibowli, Hyderabad: DECOR
Spread over two floors, the interiors of this outlet are very different from the other in Jubilee Hills. While the ground floor boasts of a rustic feel with brick walls, wooden and metal furnishing, the first floor has an intriguing Mediterranean theme that houses a buffet setup apart from the cosy dining area. The island bar counters at both the levels match the ambience. The al fresco at the ground floor also has a simple bar apart from a food truck that operates in the evenings serving some sizzling munchies. Comfortable seating options, pocket-friendly menu and beverages coupled with good music at this restaurant have caught up with the youngsters.
Over The Moon Brew Company, Gachibowli, Hyderabad: FOOD
The food menu is created to complement the different brews it offers, making it one unified taste experience. They practice old and new brewing methods, identified by their full flavors and high quality. Currently they brew the White High, New Moon, OTM Lager, Forscher, Moonlight, OTM Apple Cider which are crisp, lite with some intense flavors. Predominantly, the food menu is global with emphasis on Indian snacks.
We ordered for the Sushi selection, Cottage Cheese Burger, Crispy Lotus Stem and water chest nuts. What really sets OTM apart from its contemporaries is the uniqueness of their dishes. They never cease to surprise with a great variety of styles and each dish is as good as the last. They have a wide variety of options to choose from desi and videsi sections in the main course. We tried the Grilled Chicken Rollatini with mushrooms and wine reduction, wilted spinach and crumbled ricotta. Then came the never-say-no-to dish, Butter Chicken with butter naan. The tender and aromatic chunks of chicken in thick buttery gravy simply melts in your mouth. Salted Caramel Tart and Baileys Shahi Tukda are some of the not-to-be-missed items from the desserts section.
