The restaurant decor has nothing to do with the name Poetry, but it is an aesthetically appealing place with attractive areas inside and a lot of open space outside. A gallery leads to the restaurant which has many interior elements and plenty of ceiling lights that add to the colour and ambience. By day, large windows allow natural light to course through the interiors highlighting the ceiling and wall panels, but the restaurant is also very attractive at night when the lights come into play with the bulbs looking like stars against the dark background of the ceiling.

The restaurant offers its own takes on clas sics like the Burmese samosa soup which is a popular street side curry in Burmese cities. The crispy roesti is a platter of Swiss inspired tikkis in sun-like disc formations. Tandoori bolsters is a version of the paneer tikka with large pieces of paneer resting on a plate. The puffy nachos are like corn puris with salsa and cheese, presented in a bird cage. Some of the dishes come in ferris wheel inspired frames like the palate pleaser which contains various crispy papads. The 7-inch papdi chaat is like a crispy pizza. Cacas is Spanish inspired flat bread.The mains include quinoa casserole, sour dough garlic bread, Poetry paneer which has paneer roundels and papad churi sabzi. There is also thal biryani. The orange pound cake is warm and well made, with a nice flavor of orange, served with ice-cream on the side. The Banarasi meetha paan stuffed with ice-cream is another good dessert and warm chocolate truffle gateau will appeal to chocolate lovers.
