Chef Daniel has a formidable reputation and has been a well-respected name in Oriental cuisine in Jaipur. After working in five-star hotels for several years, he decided to venture out on his own and set up a small restaurant, located in Gopalbari-Hathrohi. He recently opened another outlet in Vaishali Nagar. Daniel’s Oriental Kitchen is a compact, well-decorated, and welcoming place. It can seat around 25 people and its size works to its advantage as it’s warm, cosy and you get constant attention from the chef and the staff who ensure that you have a good experience.
Food
The restaurant is clear about its cuisine and as the name suggests, you can choose from a variety of authentic Chinese and Oriental cuisine. In soups, there is Creamy Sweet Corn with Vegetable/Chicken/Prawn options (220, 280, and 345 respectively), Man Chow (220 veg and 280 chicken). In Dim Sums, there is Wok Tossed Vegetable Gyoza (305) and Juicy Chicken Dim Sum (340). There is also a range of vegetable, chicken, and seafood appetizers that include – Crispy Vegetable Hong Kong Style (340), Devil’s Chicken Dumplings (430) Golden Fried Prawn Scampi (690), and Wok Fried Chilli Chicken (430). There are several options in veg and non-veg main course and for seafood lovers, there is a lot of variety to choose from. Exotic Vegetables in Chinese Wine Sauce (405), Sliced Chicken with Asian Green (430) and Scampi Prawns in Garlic Butter Sauce (820) can be ordered with noodles and rice.

The good thing about Daniel’s Oriental Kitchen is that due to its location it is not in a noisy, crowded area and there is enough parking available so you can enjoy an unhurried, quiet, and informal meal with good service. The overlooking kitchen also ensures that the chef can keep an eye on the customers and make sure that all requirements are met as soon as possible. For customers, it’s interesting to see their orders being prepared. It’s a good use of the limited space and the food is good.
